talk to me… I read your e-mail this morning and I’ve been thinking about it all day. I really admire what you do. All I see are subtle signs telling women they need to be skinnier or look a certain way. There are so many things that tell us we aren’t good enough the way we are and I think it’s really awesome that you are trying to show women how valuable they are.

I know that being withdrawn never helps the situation but every time I try to reach out to my friends, it just feels like they don’t care or are too busy. I know that it’s not always going to be possible for my friends to be there for me. I don’t know. I feel like a lot of things are spiraling out of control and there’s not much I can do.

try not to let it matter whether they care or have the time.  that shouldn’t matter because your goal should be to make their day a little better and to make them happy.  if you are reaching out to try and appease yourself, it is obvious and doesn’t mean as much.

it is not what you do or say that really matters, it is the intensions and feelings behind them.  so say hi and smile without caring if they say hi back. smile and be genuine, and mean it.  it really works amazingly.

you have much more control than you think.

I think it is so great what you do. Your site is extremely powerful and gives off a great statement for women everywhere. We are all so beautiful in every way and I’m glad you recognize that. Thank you so much, for everything.
